GenCon plans for me always take some wizardry and manipulation.  I have a lot of contacts, work with a number of different game companies, and have turned GenCon more into a business trip than a gaming experience.  Trying to meet all the obligations, people, and events that I want never happens, so it is a masterful arrangement of juggling.  As a friend of mine asked recently, "When was the last time you went to GenCon to relax and enjoy the show?"

It took some thinking, rooting through pictures, and walks down memory lane, but I am pretty sure the answer is, "The last time it was not in Indianapolis."

What I do recommend everyone try at least once:

- True Dungeon

- Mechwarrior Battle Pods

- Take part in the Costume Parade

- Iron GM

And every year, spend at least 6 hours walking the dealer hall.

Game on!
