Iskendra returns.
Iskendra: Hello, my Lord has returned from his duties and is awaiting the famous One-Act play of Slumbara the Mighty.
Iskendra gestures for you to follow her.
Slumbara: Of course, we must put on our costumes
Volmalric: Thank you
Meltam: Let's go!
Meltam: Where are the costumes?
Slumbara puts on a long dress made of reeds containing large fake breasts made from coconuts, and a wig made of what appears to be Yak hair
Meltam: Excellent. Well here's to a well acted play!
Volmalric puts on something that looks vaguely reminiscent of a sailor's outfit, if you squint and don't know what a sailor's outfit looks like. He inspects the leaf patch to make sure it isn't of a poisonous variety before putting it over his eye
Meltam Seems cooperative.
Volmalric: Okay, ready to go
Slumbara fits a giant prostetic fake belly made from a turtle shell under his dress
Meltam: I can't wait to see a stage fit for a Dragon.
Meltam: I wonder how they will scale it down for us?
You are led into a small, cozy theatre. There is a single round projected stage which has a 270 degree seating arrangement around it. The remaining 90 degrees of the circle features a raised walkway that leads to the "backstage" area. Numerous lights of various intensity are directed at the stage. A few dozen people (both male and female) who are dressed similarly to Iskendra are seated while a number slaves move around the tables, serving them wines and meats.
Volmalric: We'll wing it
Slumbara: Quickly, help me erect the set before he gets here
Volmalric: Will do
Slumbara produces a roll of stakes and rope from under his dress
Meltam rolls a Craft test:
Target: 9 Focus: 1 Difficulty: 1 Complications: 0 Successes: 1 Momentum: 0 [1d2018+1d202 = 20]
You did Succeed.
The area smells vaguely of blood, and you are a bit unsettled by the fact that it appears the "wine" is indeed some sort of fermented blood, the meats are quite raw, and the slaves are obviously one step above the "tomorrow's dinner" status.
Volmalric rolls a Craft test:
Target: 11 Focus: 1 Difficulty: 1 Complications: 0 Successes: 0 Momentum: 0 [1d2013+1d2014 = 27]
You did not Succeed.
Slumbara unrolls the stakes and rope into a shoddy fence and sets it up on the stage, with Meltam's help
Volmalric is clearly not used to operating with one eye
As to the Dragon, or where it would sit, or where it is at, you cannot tell from here. Although looking up, you realize there is no real ceiling here, as it looks like there is a slanted "lava tube" that goes up from here and leads out to the surface.
GM: You can assume the Dragon is roosting somewhere above you... (or you can make various checks to figure it out.)
Slumbara rolls an Observation test:
Target: 9 Focus: 1 Difficulty: 1 Complications: 0 Successes: 1 Momentum: 0 [1d2018+1d203 = 21]

Slumbara hands Volmalric a tuba
Volmalric strains to hold the Tuba
Slumbara: Ladies and gentleman and beings of indescribable power, we have travelled far to preset for you a story of love, loss and the inequities of life (and undeath)
Slumbara: Written, directed and starring the mighty and humble Slumbara
Slumbara: Costarring the wise Volmalric, and the handsome bad body Meltam
Feneril (Slumbara): bad boy*
Volmalric bows when he is mentioned
Meltam rolls a Society test:

Slumbara whispers to Iskendra
Slumbara: When I give you the signal, have them dim the lights a bit (and turn them red if possible)
Slumbara illustrates the signal to Iskendra
Meltam presents a formidable and amazing stage presence, drawing attention to himself through sheer force of will. (No Sorcery was used in the creation of this check.)
Iskendra nods in understanding.
Slumbara rolls an Observation test:
Target: 9 Focus: 1 Difficulty: 1 Complications: 0 Successes: 1 Momentum: 0 [1d2010+1d204 = 14]

Slumbara: Slumbara and Meltam enter the stage from opposite sides and stand on opposite sides of the fence. Slumbara looks forlorn
Slumbara: You foolish man! How am I to survive this horrible famine all alone with this baby
Slumbara gestures at his belly
Volmalric stands to the side of the stage and leans the tuba up against the wall
Slumbara: What were you thinking stealing that loaf of bread? Sure you knew it would doom us both!
Slumbara cries like a hysterical woman
Meltam: But you were starving, and we have no money. What else was I to do? We are but poor serfs, and the lords and ladies have taken all the food in these difficult times.
Meltam appears troubled and guilty.
Meltam rolls a Persuade test:
Target: 10 Focus: 3 Difficulty: 2 Complications: 0 Successes: 0 Momentum: 0 [1d2011+1d2012 = 23]
You did not Succeed.
Slumbara: And what now? What meager food you stole is gone, and now I must raise our child alone, with no one to warm my bed or provide for me.
Meltam: I don’t know how, but somehow, someway, I will find a way to be free and return to you and our child.
Meltam Pats and hugs Slumbara.
Meltam rolls an Acrobatics test:

Volmalric enters the stage with confidence, speaking in a droll voice
Volmalric: Say, young man. How would you like to get out of here?
Meltam: Of course I would like to get out of here, but I cannot. I have been sentenced to five years hard labor for stealing a loaf of bread for my family. It is a terrible injustice.
Meltam Appears desperate, and eager.

Volmalric: I’m the captain of that big ship over there, and I need to replace the crew that I lost on my last voyage. I’ve paid the jailer a few gold pieces and he’s said I can take any of the prisoners to serve on my crew as long as they stay with me for 3 years.
Meltam: That sounds like corruption. And slavery?
Volmalric: Eh, more like indentured servitude.
Meltam is shocked and appalled! What an injust world!
Crowd: Corruption bad! Slavery good!
Volmalric: But I’ll pay you 5 coppers a week. So whatdya say lad, do you want to make some money out there?
Meltam rolls a Persuade test:

Meltam: Of course! Wait, what happened to your previous crew.
Meltam Cautiously optimisitic
Volmalric: Oh, uh, there's no time to get into that, mostly old age. Listen son, there’s 50 other prisoners here, if you don’t want to go I’ll find someone else.
Meltam Turns toward Slumbara
Meltam: I have no choice, I must accept his offer despite the dangers. I will go with this mysterious man and serve on his ship. And after my three years of service, I will return with the money I have earned and build a better life for you and our child.
Slumbara: I will watch out for you on the hill overlooking the bay, counting the days until you return.
Ancient Skeletal Dragon thinks to itself, "WTF is this 'old age' nonsense? They have no idea."
Meltam A dash of hope crosses Meltams face as he pleads to Slumbara
Slumbara: Three years, my love, and not a day more. Promise me you'll return?
Slumbara choking back tears

Kazemi (Volmalric): This is the song that Volmaric is playing. It's the only one he knows for brass instruments, and is a classic from when he was a sailor: (LINK)

Meltam tries to "poof" offstage, trips and falls off the stage on to a table and gets impaled on a few loose lying knives and forks.
Slumbara watches her lover sail away into the distance. As the light fades, the music rises, and Slumbara begins his interpretive Dance of Birth

Iskendra follows Slumbara's previously agreed to prompts to improve the quality of the performance.
Volmalric plays the most amazing rendition of the song ever heard. It is shocking and amazing and more than a few members of the audience leap to their feet and set the nearest available slave on fire in appreciation. Volmalric gets so caught up in the moment that he tears the tuba off and smashes it on the stage, as no one could ever achieve such a similar result ... and succeeds in breaking the tuba.
Meltam rolls a Healing test:

Slumbara wordlessly dances across the stage. As the music rises, he falls to the ground and into the Pose of Birth (tm). In eerie silence, from beneath his gown, he gives birth to a child. The child's body is carved from a panther leg, still dripping blood (as it would from birth), with a human skull of unkown origins for a head.
Meltam rolls a Sorcery test:

Kazemi adds a Momentum chit for Volmalric
Slumbara does an amazing job of dancing during the performance, all the way to the point where Volmalric breaks THE DAMN TUBA, which is one of Slumbara's most prized possessions and causes Slumbara to freeze and forget what is going on, as she realizes she has been upstaged by Volmalric's antics.
Slumbara rises back to his feet and takes the "child" in his arms, bringing it to his breast to feed. Slumbara then sees Volmalric smashing his tuba
Volmalric freezes as well
Volmalric slowly makes eye contact with Slumbara
Slumbara: as Slumbara completes his dance, symbolizing the passage of time and the aging of his child, he places the child on its feet on the ground next to him, holding its hand
Crowd watches intently, expecting Volmalric to get disemboweled at any moment.
Slumbara: It has been three long years, but at last I see the familiar sails of your father’s ship arrive in port. Today is an important day, little one. Today you will meet your father. Come, let’s stand on the dock and watch the men coming off the ship.
Slumbara looks on with eagerness and longing, as the lights rise back up

Strange "tweet" noises start coming from the tuba.
Volmalric steps back onto the stage, keeping his distance from Slumbara
The crowd is awed by Slumbara's poise and grace on the stage.
Slumbara: Captain! Where is my husband? Is he still aboard the ship? I’ve come with our child to greet him. It would really be a shame if something... happened to him.

The tuba makes a raspberry noise at Volmalric's announcement.
Volmalric glances over at the Tuba, and tries to find Meltam. Unfortunately, he can't find the sorcerer from this angle
Volmalric turns back to Slumbara
Volmalric: Your husband was a fine sailor, and a good man. Before he died, he told me to give this to you.
Volmalric he steps closer, pulling out a small box from his pocket and handing it to the enormous warrior in a dress
Slumbara takes the box

Volmalric takes a deep breath and delivers his lines
Volmalric: In every port we visited at sea, he would buy a trinket for his child whom he hoped to one day meet. When he fell ill, he asked me to give it to you when we returned to his home.
Slumbara grabs the captain by the collar desparately
Slumbara: Tell me captain, how did he die?
Volmalric: Oh, no time to get into that. Old age I think. Good luck!
Volmalric quickly hurries back out of reach of Slumbara
Slumbara wails in sadness and picks the captain up into the air before hurling him offstage with all his might

Crowd cheers at Slumbara's amazing acting skills.
Volmalric catches a support beam with one hand as he's thrown past, allowing him to pivot in the air and land on his feet rather than crash face first into the backstage equipment
Slumbara kneels down to talk to his panter-leg-human-skull child, eye-to-eye
Slumbara: I’m afraid you won’t be meeting your father today. This is the grave injustice of our world.
Slumbara: The strong prey on the weak, and the wealthy on the poor. But at least you and I will always have each other.
Slumbara clutches the box the captain gave him
Slumbara: And we will cherish these trinkets your father bought you.

Iskendra walks up to Slumbara.
Iskendra: An old and bitter version of Captain Volmalric once told us if the play was performed well enough, we should give you this vial of tears. Please take it with our compliments, although it is a strange form of payment for such a nice performance.
Slumbara: Thank you, Slumbara will keep this safe
Iskendra curtsies.
Crowd cheers wildly and gives you a standing ovation.

A couple small children run forward and offer Slumbara some metal ingots. They look like hardened steel with some sort of criss-crossing glowing blue-veined substance running through them.
Slumbara accepts them
Slumbara: Thank you little ones, what are these?
Volmalric tears off his costume and pours a mixture into them, mixing it up and then shoving it down the front of the Tuba to silence it, hopefully with glue that is strong and fast setting. He uses a spare flask and cloth to press it deep into the Tuba
Lizardman child: They are blue-steel ingots, we didn't know what kind of weapon you wanted, she said you should have a big scythe but I said you should have a giant two handed sword. So we decided to give you the raw materials to make your own.

Slumbara: It is OK, Slubara knows how to grow flowers
Slumbara: But Slumbara does not know how to grow blue metal
Lizardman child beams like a super happy five year old. Runs off with his sister after talking directly to the amazing and mighty Actor-Warrior Slumbara.
Volmalric: Huh, I'm glad my grumpy older self seems to have done a good job to the...peoples of this land.
Black smoke begins pouring from the tuba.
Crowd: Eek!
Tack (Meltam): ELEPHANT TOOTHPASTE
Crowd runs from the room.
Iskendra: Oh bother.
Campaign saved.
