GM: Hello there
Ivan: Good Evening. =]
GM: [2d10 = 70]
GM: [2d10 = 82]
Tack (Ivan): I raise you a die of some sort!
GM: Playing with preferences
Ivan: [1d20 = 20]
Tack (Ivan): Bazam!
GM: My D100s are in awe.
Ivan: =)
A day passes, rather uneventfully.
Early the following morning, Commissar Vasily Ivanovich arrives with a couple other soldiers.
Ivan: I punch like a comet and drink till I vomit I',m Ivan the Solider man! :swig swig:
Ivan: Salutes
Commissar Vasily Ivanovich: Greetings comrades.
MacGyverovich: Greetings, Sir.
Dmitri: Greetings Commissar Comrade
Ivan: Hail!
Commissar Vasily Ivanovich: Well, I have some unusual news for you. It seems that a Colonel Khuiov has requested your presence.
Ivan: The COLONEL?!
Commissar Vasily Ivanovich: I am not sure what he wants with you, but you are to be escorted to the docks and ferried across the Volga.
Commissar Vasily Ivanovich: The entire squad.
Dmitri: Yes, sir
Ivan: Understood good Commissar!
Kazemi (Dmitri): that's encroaching on my turf!
TADM: I agree Kazemi.
TADM: Clearly there needs to be more variety in the characters around here.
TADM: I will need to kill off a few of them.
Campaign saved.
Tack (Ivan): KILL ME!
TADM: But you are way too amusing.
Tack (Ivan): or am I INDESTRUCTIBLE! BWa ha ha ah!
Ivan: Very well then. When should we head out, Noble Commissar?
MacGyverovich: Yes, Commissar. Hopefully the vogage will be better going back than it was getting here.
Ivan: What...the voyage was bad youre say'in Mac?
Ivan: We got to shoot the Krauts!
Commissar Vasily Ivanovich: Very well, we leave immediately.
Ivan: Takes a quick look over the hideout
Commissar Vasily Ivanovich: Another squad will take over this position.
Ivan: Survival [1d6 = 4]
Tack (Ivan): To check if there is anything im leaving behind
GM: You see nothing worth grabbing on your way out of the building.
The squad follows Commissar Ivanovich down to the docks. They are a little less exciting than the last time you were here.
He directs you to a motorboat, barely large enough for everyone to fit. It is definitely much faster than the barge you took across the first time.
Ivan: Looks at the motorboat. Oh Wow
GM: Mac's understanding of all things mechanical tells him that this is top-of-the-line for Mother Russia. Someone wants to talk to you in a hurry.
Ivan: I'm Unworthy!
Tack (Ivan): All HAIL! COMMISSAR VISTA!
Tack (Ivan): ALL YOUR THOUGHT ARE BELONG TO HIM
Tack (Ivan): Hrm....Does this run well on Linux Distros?
TADM: With Crossover or a really customized Wine config.
Tack (Ivan): Ok.
Ivan: Ivan is puzzled at the bizzare moto-boat. He attempts understanding!
Ivan: Kn Farming [Trait roll was a natural 1] [1d6 = 5]
The motorboat heads across the river. You make it to the far bank completely unharmed. The distant sound of artillery reverbs a few time and you see airplanes in the distance, but nothing anywhere near you.
MacGyverovich: K (Science) [1d6 = 5]
MacGyverovich: K (Machines) [1d4 = 7]
Tack (Ivan): Youre Science means nothing next to my Vodka!
Dmitri: Shooting [Trait roll was a natural 1] [1d6 = 2]
Dmitri: awww
Kazemi (Dmitri): aww
Kazemi (Dmitri): pardon that, I missed my alt button
Dmitri: Notice [Trait roll was a natural 1] [1d6 = 14]
MacGyverovich: Notice [1d6 = 10]
Ivan: Notice [1d4 = 15]
Tack (Ivan): BWA HA! I WIN YOUR PUNY PISSING CONTEST! MY DICE IS NOT WEAK!
The motorboat takes you inside a warehouse that overlooks the river. Inside you see several uniformed soldiers. They are wearing BPO uniforms like the soliders who took Mac away last week.
The soliders are very well equipped, loaded with grenades, SMGs, and you suspect they are wearing some sort of body armor.
Ivan: Kid in A Candy Store Look
You are taken off the motorboat, told to leave all your weapons behind. Once disarmed you are escorted through a subterranean complex.
[w] MacGyverovich -> Ivan: Smite them! Smiter them NAO!
Ivan: Cant take these two weapons! (flexes his arms)
Kazemi (Dmitri): as they amputate his arms
Tack (Ivan): Bah! They are not just mine! they are the Arms of RUSSIA, ready to dispense FURY and COMMUNISM
Kazemi (Dmitri): where do you come up with that stuff?
After a five minute walk, you are placed in a small cell. It is large enough that everyone can sit there and move around. There are a couple chamberpots in the corner. About an hour passes and you see no one else. Then a soldier comes by pushing a cart. He unloads several fresh warm meals and hands them to the squad.
Tack (Ivan): THE COMMISSAR PROVIDES!
Kazemi (Dmitri): is it better than prison food?
The redshirts chow down. They seem content and happy.
MacGyverovich: What did you idiots get us into this time?
MacGyverovich: looks at squad
Dmitri: I'm blaming the dead man
GM: Well, given that you have been surviving on scraps, this is like five-star meal food.
Ivan: OH MY ....LEADER! THIS BANQUET!!!
GM: Is everyone eating?
Ivan: OM NOM NOM
MacGyverovich: Munch munch munch
[w] Dmitri: I'll just wait, I'm a bit nervous
About twenty minutes later, a couple soldiers come by and ask Pavel to follow them.
He leaves. The corridor is quiet again after that.
[w] Dmitri -> Ivan: do give my share to the other guys
MacGyverovich: Fighting [Trait roll was a natural 1] [1d6 = 2]
Ivan: Are you going to eat that Dmitri?
Nick (MacGyverovich): oops. wrong skill. it moved
Kazemi (Dmitri): LOL "Don't fight with your food!"
MacGyverovich: K (Food critique) [1d4 = 3]
Ivan: I haven't eaten this well since My antie Rogina used to make on the harvest moon! Oh you should have seen it!
About thirty minutes later, the same two guards come back and ask for Oleg. This repeats until all of the redshirts have been taken away. None of them return.
Tack (Ivan): If there's any truth serum in this food.....it will have no effect on Ivan. BWA HA HA! WHo is fool now!??!!?
Kazemi (Dmitri): why is that?
Tack (Ivan): My big mouth is unaffected by truth serums and common sense.
You are taken out one at a time and brought to a small room. There is a small metal table with a couple books on it. Seated behind one chair is a man wearing a Colonel's uniform. You are directed to sit in the chair across from him. As you sit down, two BPO soldiers take positon behind you. It does not take a notice roll to figure out they have their SMGs pointed right at your back.
Tack (Ivan): O SHI!
Nick (MacGyverovich): as bad of an idea as it is, i'm almost tempted to use a roll to blow up the chair
A single electrical light flickers overhead. It gives the Colonel a strange yellowish-sallow tint to his skin. His hair is grey and stringy. There are enough wrinkles on his face that you are not sure what he originally looked like. You are left with the assumption that he is about 70 years old.
Tack (Ivan): GRANDPA! YOU'RE ALIVE!
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Greetings to you comrade soldier.
His voice is firm and low. There is an unmistakable aura of command about him.
You also get the feeling that he will know instantly if you lie to him about anything.
[w] Dmitri: Greetings, comrade Colonel
MacGyverovich: Greetings sir.
Tack (Ivan): COMRADES DON'T LET COMRADES LIE!
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: You have had quite the interesting time since your arrival in this city.
Ivan: Does not interupt the Colonel at all unless specifically inquired
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: In fact, one of you have begun to exhibit some rather peculiar talents. (For Mac he states, "You have begin to show some unusual talents.")
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: For right now, I have a few questions to ask of you.
MacGyverovich: Yes sir
Tack (Ivan): Remember, PREFIXED with ./
Ivan: Yes Colonel!
[w] Dmitri: It would be my honor, sir
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: First, when did you notice your comrade's strange ability?
[w] Ivan: GM Yah I was killin some Krauts, and then he picks up the facist and blows him up in the air! He didn't even share!
[w] Ivan: GM I have too assume it was MacGyverovich becasue everyone else was shootin or stabbins!
[w] MacGyverovich: didn't know I had abilities until I was at the hospital.
[w] Dmitri: He went missing after the second most recent German excursion from the south. He was reported dead to us, but on the last assualt a few days ago he returned. He had some...odd behavior from then on.
Tack (Ivan): Cat is much cuter than the persnickety bond cats!
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: I see. Well, have you noticed any strange behavior from the Fascists?
[w] Dmitri: No sir. None that compare to Mac's. Although...I seem to remember a large wolf a week or two ago.
[w] Ivan: GM they die too easy. Do the men in germany drink tea and pick pansies all day?
[w] MacGyverovich: Nothing unusual. Although, the SS squad that attacked us seemed unusual, given the regular troops we've been fighting
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Hmm. Okay. How about any strange animals or unusual behavior from normal animals?
[w] Ivan: GM some of my squad talked about a walkin puppy, but I think it was just a little vodlka and a streetwalker lookin for someone lonely! Bwha ha!
[w] MacGyverovich: Well, Dmitri and I (and a redshirt not sure who) saw a large dog the night we were told about the "Cellar"
[w] Dmitri: That wolf was unnatural. I've seen quite a lot of creatures out in the woods, but there was no way the three of us could have stood up to that
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Fasctinating. This is a lot for me to think about. I might have some more questions in the future. But for right now, I have one last question in this interview.
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Tatyana, before I ask the last question, I need you to take care of something for me.
Ivan: Notice [1d6 = 7]
[w] Ivan: GM IS SHE CUTE?
When he says that, there is movement from the corner of the room. A woman dressed in a plain black gown steps forward. You are not sure how long she has been there, but she was completely motionless before.
Dmitri: Notice [1d6 = 4]
Any other attempt to discern facts about her is lost, because you look at her face and realize that she has no eyes. They were not plucked out. She is not wearing a blindfold. It is like the eyes themselves never existed on her face. It is a very unsettling sight.
Ivan: Ivan is not as warmed by the word Tatyana as he was before seeing that.
She walks over and places a hand on your shoulder. There is a strange glow about you. All your muscles relax. It feels like your consciousness is leaving your body. There is something incredible, yet unwholesome about the experience.
Tack (Ivan): Wait can i make a spirit roll to me unshaken by that? Im tough!
TADM: No.
She backs away, and seems to fade into the darkness and you cannot see her any longer.
The Colonel opens up a book and slides it across the table in front of you. The picture is old and faded. There is something odd about it.
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Do you recognize anyone in this picture?
GM: Notice checks on the picture.
Ivan: Blinks. That beats the pink elephant for sure!
Ivan: Notice [1d4 = 3]
Ivan is using a benny
Dmitri: Notice [1d6 = 7]
Ivan: Notice [1d6-1 = 4]
MacGyverovich: Notice [1d6 = 8]
[w] MacGyverovich: Wait, where'd my wounds go? They were there earlier
[w] -> MacGyverovich: Hmm...maybe you should ask Tatyana
GM: Okay, since everyone got above a 4, I'll describe the picture to you.
It is an old faded picture. There are ten men in outlandish uniforms that you have never seen before. They are carrying antique looking weapons. Dmitri recognizes them as muzzle-loading rifles.
Tack (Ivan): There we go!
There is a date scribbled in the corner, it reads, "August 1855."
On the bottom of the picture are scrawled the words, "Known Original Specimens"
One of the faces in the picture looks very familiar to you, because it does not look like Andrej Movenchkin has aged a day.
[w] Dmitri: Yes, sir, that's Comrade Movenchkin. He helped our squad fight off the Fascists during the battle Mac was taken away in. He's an excelent sniper, although he could speak German awfully well. I believe he ran off after the Fascists toward to end of the battle, no doubt to tear their yellow spines out. That...uh, that picture...is it dated correctly? He doesn't seem to have aged at all...
[w] Ivan: GM Specimens? They look like me father's father! If Specimen means louse, then a new word I have learned!
[w] Ivan: GM OH! It's the TOUGH GUY! with the Tsar Svard!
[w] Ivan: GM Oh oh! I know something about that comrade! The Krauts got sick actually fighting, so they tossed bombs at us...Yah that guy slashes em out like dey was kraut! (makes sword noises)
[w] Ivan: GM He said lots of fancy words and stuff about some old war. He really saved his fellow comrades!
[w] MacGyverovich: That's Andrej. He was at the fight where I was "found". He took the rest of my squad to take out the artillery. I stayed behind to attempt to coordinate the other troops, but it didn't go as planned
[w] -> Dmitri: Yes, the date is correct. Is there anyone else in the picture that you recognize?
Dmitri: Notice [1d4 = 2]
[w] Dmitri: OC anything new with that?
[w] -> Ivan: What old war? I need you to specifically remember what he said. If you cannot remember Tatyana can help you, but it will not be a pleasant experience.
[w] Dmitri: No sir. He's the only one I can recognize off the top of my head
[w] -> MacGyverovich: Was that the first time you ever saw him or had contact with him?
[w] Ivan: GM well we just sat there and that MacGyverovich comrade didnt want to move even though we couldn't really get the fascists from where we was n such....we had to take the fight to them. He started jammblin about the frogs, and not bein able to defend.....But I said it first...just not pretty like that.
[w] MacGyverovich: No, he also took out the sniper the day of the boat landing
[w] Ivan: GM it was sorta hazy 'cuz ya know, there was fightin goin on
[w] -> Ivan: Did he mention any specific cities or battles?
Ivan: Smarts [Trait roll was a natural 1] [1d6 = 5]
MacGyverovich: Smarts [1d10 = 9]
[w] -> Ivan: The call from the audience is that he said "like the French at Calais"
[w] Ivan: GM ah yes! It was the frogs at Calais!
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Well, I thank you again for your information. You will be taken to a holding area for now.
Tack (Ivan): Note: you can tab-Autocomplete like a unix terminal. It aids in sending tells properly!
Dmitri: Smarts [1d6 = 5]
Ivan: Salutes the colonel
MacGyverovich: You're welcome, sir. One is glad to be of service
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: You will find a new member of your squad there. His name is Stefan. He worked with the sniper Rubakho earlier. He is a person of interest to the BPO. Just like you are.
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Enjoy the cooking. We shall talk more later.
Ivan: THANK YOU SO MUCH COLONEL!
Dmitri: Thank you sir. I wish you luck.
With that, you are escorted out of the room and taken to a barracks. The rest of the squad is there. Compared to what you are used to, this place is like a hotel.
Ivan: AH! MY SQUAD! It's Nice to see you all Alive and Well again!
There are fresh mattresses with clean sheets and pillows. Everyone has their own chamberpot. Aside from the fact that you are underground and the door locks behind you, preventing you from leaving, this place is very nice. The rest of the squad is there also.
Stefan Vasilev: Pryvet, comrades
Pavel: Hello comrades, it is good to see you alive.
Dmitri: Hey, Pavel
Ivan: AH YOU MUST BE STEFAN! So you're gonna shoot all the Nazi'z for us? Thats what the Colonel Said! Bhwa ha ha!
Alexei: Me see shiny picture, not know anyone. It have scribbles on it.
Dmitri: I'm certain Ivan saw the same thing
Nikolai: (snores)
Oleg: Okay, anyone else throw up when the freaky girl appeared?
Ivan: Where ya from Stefan!? And what's the local water like there?
Dmitri: No, but it did creep me out
Ivan: You aren't sure where Ivan left his shame or bashfulness. It's got to be in the lost bin someplace becasue its no where to be found here!
Ivan: Stefan! Anyone home?!!
Stefan Vasilev: arises from a stupor
Ivan: Ah ha! A true Comrade! I knew i!
Stefan Vasilev: Comrade don't trust the water here, you should know the only water to drink is Vodka
Ivan: AYE THATS WHAT IM TALKIN about!
Ivan: Hows the water where ya comefrom, and where would that be?
Stefan Vasilev: I used to fish for a living
Stefan Vasilev: then the Great Comrade Stalin informed me I was needed
Nikolai: The greatsh Comrade Sshhtalin appeared in my dreamsss...he sssaid drink moore Wodka.
Stefan Vasilev: so I've been working a sniper, just me the vodka, and the nazi's
Pavel: How did Nikolai survive the interview?
Oleg: Shut up Pavel. The GM fudged that roll.
Ivan: Hrm....I guess that's pretty cool. =]
GM: At the point where everyone is ready for me to fast forward two hours, let me know.
Ivan: >>>
MacGyverovich: >>>
Dmitri: >>>
Stefan Vasilev: >>>
Stefan Vasilev (pain): any spare vodka comrades?
A couple hours pass. The door opens and a soldier wheels in a cart. It has plates of food for everyone, along with several bottles of Vodka. The food smells delicious and Ivan, Nikolai, and Stefan can all tell this is not cheap swill Vodka, this is good quality.
Ivan: WERE IN LUCK CHUMS!
Kazemi (Dmitri): do they prefer good quality Vodka?
Pavel: I am suspicious of our sudden good fortune.
Ivan: STALIN PROVIDES!
MacGyverovich: Shut up, Pavel
Alexei: Me eat your food if you don't want Pavel.
Nikolai: Dibs on Pavel's vodka.
Tack (Ivan): Swill is for looking like an idiot. Good quality is for gentlemanly like behavior
Dmitri: I'm with Pavel
Ivan: STEFAN! TIME TO SEE WHAT YOURE MADE OF!
Dmitri: I can't help but feel uneasy
Ivan: Grabs his bottle.
Stefan Vasilev: Grins
Ivan: GO!
Nikolai: CHUG CHUG CHUG!
Dmitri: Well, if they want to do anything to us they have more than enough strength, so no harm in eating
Stefan Vasilev: Starts Consuming Vodka at a rapid rate
Ivan: Begins chugging. Youd bettter believe this is proper behavior!
Dmitri: they don't have a reason to poison us
Nick (MacGyverovich): *sigh* This is where Smashi would have pwned at drinking contest
Ivan: Spirit [1d10 = 8]
Stefan Vasilev: Spirit [1d6 = 4]
Tack (Ivan): (even if I dont need to make that, I'm still rollin in spirits! Bwa ha ha!)
Ivan: 0.0
Ivan: Smarts to not waste such a present so foolishly!
Ivan: Smarts [1d6 = 5]
Stefan Vasilev: coughs and sputters as Ivan drinks him under
Ivan: Ah, this is very good indeed, but it doesn't quite look like you are ready to appreciate it properly Stefan. Maybe another time
Ivan: Cheers for the Comrade's Vodka!
Nikolai: Soviet Infantry: Spirit [1d6 = 14]
Stefan Vasilev: Don't you worry, you looked sober when you walked in, I've been at this all week
Ivan: Looks Insulted. You called me What?
Ivan: Taunt [1d6 = 4]
Tack (Ivan): THATS NOT A TAUNT!
Ivan is using a benny
DeadByte (Stefan Vasilev): taunt uses what?
Ivan: Taunt [1d6 = 2]
Ivan is using a benny
Ivan: Taunt [Trait roll was a natural 1] [1d6 = 3]
MacGyverovich: Smarts [1d6-2 = 9]
Tack (Ivan): I would say that skill "taunts me" but that is going to encourage it
GM: For the record, Nikolai kicked both your butts. His Spirit check was a 14.
Nick (MacGyverovich): see, that's how i roll for taunt
Dmitri: Spirit [1d6 = 4]
Nick (MacGyverovich): oh wait, i don't even need the -2 cuz it's a smarts roll! Bwa ha ha!
Stefan Vasilev: no hard feelings comrade here's one of the spare bottles I haven't opened yet
Ivan: Ok. Ill play nice then. =]
MacGyverovich: Spirit [1d6 = 2]
The rest of the night passes uneventfully. Well, unless someone does something to make it uneventful. Or someone tries to open the door.
Pavel: I try to open the door.
Oleg: I beat Pavel senseless.
DeadByte (Stefan Vasilev): Comat can still be made just breaka bottle of vodka!
[w] MacGyverovich: rolling for nightmares. 1 or 6 fails
MacGyverovich: [1d6 = 1]
Ivan: NO! Not the door! this is the best room ever!
[w] MacGyverovich: DAMNIT!
Ivan: Lays back.
Ivan: Sleeps
Tack (Ivan): Library > Skills Listing
[w] MacGyverovich: Waits for the whammy train to arrive at the station
Tack (Ivan): If Nick made an unbalanced character, I will use taunt more
Ivan: >>>
Stefan Vasilev: >>>
You wake the next morning. Everyone is still there.
The door opens again. This time they bring in two carts. One has fresh chamberpots. The other has breakfast. You get eggs, bacon, vodka.
[w] MacGyverovich: What happens to me, as I failed my sleepy roll?
Ivan: THIS PLACE IS RUSSIA!
Tack (Ivan): I couldnt very well say heaven, eh?
Ivan: To tell the origin of the Vodka
Ivan: Smarts [1d6 = 5]
Dmitri: offers some food to the servants
The soldiers wait until everyone has swapped out their chamberpot and put all their dishes on the carts. Then they wheel the carts out and leave. The door locks from the outside again.
Dmitri: *soldiers
DeadByte (Stefan Vasilev): notice check on where the kitchen is located..
[w] -> MacGyverovich: You toss and turn all night long. You sleep poorly. Tatyana appears in your dreams several times. Everytime she does, you wake up with dry heaves.
Stefan Vasilev: Smarts [1d6 = 10]
Stefan is quite certain the kitchen is on the other side of the door. Some distance away. But it must be an awesome place.
Ivan: Happy as a clam. Why would I ever move out of here?
About an hour later, the soldiers walk in and demand that Pavel follows them.
He heads outside. The door closes and locks behind them. About ten minutes later you hear Pavel's screams.
Oleg: Umm...through the door?
GM: Yes
Oleg: Oh shit.
Ivan: So Pavel told me he likes that Tatyana girl! Bwa ha ha!
Ivan: Seems hes "getting freaky" with her
Nick (MacGyverovich): Uh oh. He failed a check.
Ivan: Chuckles. Someone might think thats funny. It may take some alcohol but...
Stefan Vasilev: oh I didn't know Pavel favored his women to be lively
Dmitri: or without eyes
Ivan: Lively! I'll tell you about lively women! They need EYES MAN. Eyes full of SOUL!
Stefan Vasilev: she's gotta be too much woman for him to handle
Three minutes later, the screams stop. Seven minutes after that the door opens. The guards bring Pavel back in. Smoke is rising from his body. He appears unconscious.
They dump him on the nearest bed and order Oleg to follow them.
Oleg: Can I object?
Stefan Vasilev: lol
GM: Sure. They shoot you.
Oleg: Okay, I don't object and go with them.
Stefan Vasilev: Comrade Oleg
Stefan Vasilev: treat her nice
Ivan: Starts ranting about some girl's pretty blue eyes.
They head outside with Oleg. The process that Pavel just went through repeats.
Oleg: AAACCCCKKKK!!!!
Ivan: They was like shining oceans!
GM: Anyone want to check Pavel?
Ivan: Notice [1d4 = 2]
Dmitri: Notice [1d4 = 3]
MacGyverovich: Notice [1d8 = 10]
That is not smoke rising from Pavel. It is steam. Apparently something caused the water in his body to start boiling.
Oleg: I want to pass out now.
Nikolai: HAH! I will survive. My body is 62% alcohol. It has a much higher boiling point.
Stefan Vasilev: Hands oleg a bottle of vodka
Ivan: Smarts [1d4 = 2]
Stefan Vasilev: Smarts [1d4 = 6]
MacGyverovich: Smarts [1d10 = 8]
GM: The boiling point of Grain alcohol is about 172F.
Nikolai: Don't get your logic and facts in the way of my bravado.
Ivan: Hrm..... What can we do for Pavel....
MacGyverovich: How do you think they make vodka? They BOIL OUT the alcohol, then filter it and add water!
Pavel: (murmurs) Mommy....can I have a drink...
Ivan: GET THIS MAN 50CC of VODKA, STAT!
The guards return with Oleg, who is in a similar condition to Pavel. They then proceed to take everyone else out once at a time.
Ivan: Using Medicine like they did on me farm!
Ivan: Kn Farming [1d4 = 3]
Ivan: Common Drink up Oleg, Pavel! Its what will cure ya!
MacGyverovich: Healing [1d6 = 8]
Stefan Vasilev: Gives Ivan some of his secret Rum stash
DeadByte (Stefan Vasilev): for the healing process
Kazemi (Dmitri): rum?
Mac is able to ease the suffering of the people who go before him. Although it does not look like what they are suffering from is fatal.
Stefan Vasilev: when your a fisherman you meet many a people
Stefan Vasilev: this rum is STRONGER then our Vodka!
Ivan: This other type of alcohol seems....sweet and un manly!
Ivan: WHAT IS THIS SPICE? In MY ETHANOL?
You are individually taken into the nearby room. They strap you into a chair. Once you are secured, the Colonel steps forward.
Ivan: Oh shit go time
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Pardon the restraints. It is in your best interest so you do not hurt yourself.
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: I apologize for what it about to happen.
[w] MacGyverovich: Do I get the same punishment? You know, since I could technically zap them back>
[w] -> MacGyverovich: Oh yes. Feel free to try and zap them back.
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Tatyana. Please.
Ivan: Colonel! You are my hero! you have nothing to aplogize for!
Dmitri: I'm sure this is about to be fun...
Ivan: You truly know what Hospitality means, men like you are true comrades!
[w] MacGyverovich: can't. My "trappings" said I had to clap my hands. Damn loopholes
He gestures the woman forward. The woman steps out of the shadows again. This time she places a hand on each temple.
She begins murmuring in a language you do not understand.
GM: Common Knowledge (Smarts) checks.

Ivan: Vigor [1d6 = 3]
Dmitri: Vigor [1d8 = 13]
Stefan Vasilev: Vigor [1d4 = 2]
MacGyverovich: Vigor [1d6 = 5]
Everyone who rolled below a 4 starts screaming at this point.
GM: Dmitri thinks it tickles.
Kazemi (Dmitri): tee hee
Ivan: WAAAAAAAGH!
Dmitri: I've had fox bites that've hurt worse than this
You find yourself confronted by hordes of slavering monsters. You suspect they are hallucinations, but feel terror nonetheless.

Those of you who failed just lost a point of Sanity. Unless you have Doubting Thomas, in which case you lost two.
Kazemi (Dmitri): WHICH IS WHY I KEPT ROLLING
Stefan Vasilev: ugh
Tack (Ivan): He means the good kind of sanity, not the bad kind you all suffer from!
Kazemi (Dmitri): lol
[w] MacGyverovich: Would Tatyana's healing earlier have removed my permanent injury as well?
[w] -> MacGyverovich: No.
[w] MacGyverovich: Worth a shot
Tatyana releases her grip and backs away. The Colonel looks at you sadly.
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Has this one been touched?
Tatyana looks at him and nods her head.
The Colonel sighs.
Tack (Ivan): IM HAVING FLASHBACKS FROM ROKUGAN!
[w] Dmitri: That sounds bad
He directs the soldeirs to take you back to the holding area.
Ivan: OooooooooAaaaaaagh, I blame your Rum Stefan!
Stefan Vasilev: Groans Weakly
The squad is left there for several hours. Eventually you recover from your ordeal. The soldiers bring in dinner that evening. It is an extra large and delicious meal for everyone.
Ivan: No...Moar.....rum......true.......russ....
Ivan: beefy....spicy....bully....
Stefan Vasilev: waNNt yak...
The night passes quietly. The next morning the soldiers arrive and gesture for all of you to follow them.
You are taken into a small courtyard and lined up against a wall. Several soldiers take up positions across from you.
Ivan: =0
Nikolai: My liver's too young to die!
Colonel Khuiov steps out.
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Comrades, it seems that Mother Russia has need of you.
Ivan: Ivan' eyes light up! FIGHT! For everlasting comradery!
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: For now, you are returning to your old post and going about your normal business.
Dmitri: Yes sir!
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: However, I want to be very clear about a couple issues. First, you report to me. You do not report to Captain Petrovich. You must still obey the Commissars, and for day to day orders, Captain Petrovich will instruct you. But should I have need of your talents, my orders override everything you hear from anyone else.
Dmitri: nods
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Second, if you mention anything that happened to you in the past three days, you will be lucky to die by a Commissar's bullet. There are much less pleasant ways to die.
Ivan: Of course! Colonel Anatoly! =)
Stefan Vasilev: Oh, count on us, my track record, and I'm sure my comrades are more then up to the task
Ivan: Ivan seems sold. Evidently these chaps know his price
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Lastly, should you find Comrade Mevenchkin, you are to stay with him. Report your position to me, but you must not lose sight of him. Between your talents and his, I think we can win this battle.
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: And I do not mean the battle against the Fascists. If you wonder of what battle I speak, you will learn soon enough.
Ivan: YES. Acknolwedged!
Dmitri: Understood, sir
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Now, your equipment has been stored in that boat. (gestures to a motorboat by the docks)
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: The boat will take you back across the Volga. Return to your normal location. I will let you know when I need something from you.
Colonel Anatoly Khuiov: Dismissed.
Tack (Ivan): Salutes and heads to the boat!
The solders and the Colonel head back inside the underground complex. The door locks behind them.
Stefan Vasilev: Laughs a little wildly and stumbles onto the ship
Ivan: Bah! That Laugh is a GIRLS LAUGH
Ivan: Taunt [1d6 = 2]
Nikolai: I like this new guy.
Dmitri: Spirit [1d4 = 2]
Dmitri is using a benny
Dmitri: Spirit [1d6 = 4]
The boat takes you across the river. The trip is uneventful. Within a few minutes, you are back at the blockhouse across from the Cellar. It seems that the war has been very quiet in thsi part of Stalingrad for the last couple days.
Ivan: Notice [Trait roll was a natural 1] [1d6 = 9]
Dmitri: Notice [1d6 = 10]
GM: You also have the feeling that it is not going to stay that way very long.
Tack (Ivan): YES! I have 3 empty wounds slots, reserve your spot today!
Campaign saved.
