After the lizards have been killed, the rest of the night passes quietly and peacefully. Well, except for that fact that you all have the same dream, which is basically a nightmare involving being cremated and stuffed into a large clay jar.
The next morning dawns bright and sunny, and you have some tasty rations and drink some water. About 1000 a high-flying plane ejects a supply crate out the back, giving everyone a nice restock of socks, underwear, rations, and water.
Dugan: I had a crazy dream last night. I dreamt that I died and became peanut butter

Lt. Andrea Devine pulls out a pair of long thin blades and stabs them into the ground in front of her.
Sergeant Almareth: What you really don't want to know Colwyn, is where she keeps those.
Colwyn O'Reilly looks moderately surprised by that
Tyran Drenski tells Rocky "Protect the tank and everyone who loads the gun on the tank!!"
Dugan: checks his colt to ensure its also in firing order and at hand
Colwyn O'Reilly: Packmule, maybe you could help Drenski with lifting heavy things in the tank

Out of the ground, between the barbed wire and the trench, a whole line of sickeningly disgusting corpses bursts from the hard packed dirt, sending clods of dirt and long grasses showering down on the trench line. They are missing body parts and several are missing heads. They shamble towards the trench lines with yellowish claws that ooze some sort of sticky sap that leaves trails of smoke when it strikes the ground.
