I have a short stay-cation in San Diego this weekend.  The USS Midway is berthed down near the San Diego Naval Station as a floating museum.  It was a fun tour and a good use of three hours.  If you ever wondered what life was like on an aircraft carrier, this is a great experience.  They have three different types of audio tours, in multiple languages.  The volunteers there are pretty much all retired navy, many of whom served on the Midway.  You can really appreciate their love for the old ship, and how well maintained it is.

There is a lot to see and do there, and it is worth the visit, parking, and entire tour.
