The Kumite starts at noon. It looks like single-elimination combats, there are about 100 participants, and no match is allowed to go for more than five minutes without both participants being disqualified.
Zach Dallas dresses in his usual duster and stetson with a sharp new eyepatch. It has a red diamond symbol, as seen on playing cards, sewn into it. He also has his leather gloves, one of which also has a red diamond on it.

The stadium where the Kumite is held holds about 2000 people, along with several VIP booths. Zach is escorted up to Tam's booth, where a number of other people are gathered to cheer on their people.
