Extension (Conan 2D20 V3.6 09302018) loaded.
Our intrepid adventurers find themselves in a vicious fight against the Dwellers of the Deep, and thanks to some unfortunate shenanigans, a large pulsing spider-looking black entity of the Outer Dark appears to be materializing in the summoning pit!
Slumbara takes advantage of the confusion caused by the purple tentacle monster, and spurs his fish-man mount to charge at the Shaman still chanting the ritual while swinging wildly at his head
Slumbara: Animal Handling 4EXP/4FOC Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 14]
Slumbara: Melee 2EXP/2FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 21]
Slumbara: Hya!
The Dweller in the Deep is not really a valid mount, and not entirely sure what the intent of Slumbara spurring him is, but he gets the idea and decides to use Slumbara as a thrown projectile, thereby getting him out of danger and accomplishing the same effect.
GM: Athletics Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 12]
Kazemi (Volmalric): brb in a sec
The Dweller is immediately signed to a major league contract after he flings Slumbara right at the Shaman, managing to arrange such a majestic throw that Slumbara gets bonus momentum for his Melee attack!
Slumbara: Broadsword: (Reach 2-Parry 1-UNB-5D): [7d6 = 23]
Kazemi (Volmalric): back!
Slumbara: [1d6 = 2]
Slumbara: Let's see you chant without a throat fish man!
The Shaman makes a lot of gurgling noises, there is a steady dribble of black blood, and he is definitely not chanting any longer. Unfortunately, Slumbara did not do enough damage to decapitate the Shaman.
Tack (Meltam Perandus): Yeah, you gilled him pretty bad.
Meltam Perandus is using a Hero Point
Meltam Perandus: Sorcery 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 22]
Meltalm makes significant progress on stopping the summoning ritual, thanks heavily to the fact that he is no longer trying to help them summon the creature AND they are currently not trying to summon the creature.
Volmalric leaves his cover and fires an arrow at the Shaman closest to him
Volmalric: Ranged Weapons 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 0 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 27]
Meltam Perandus: ettodom e imu
GM: [1d6 = 3]
Volmalric: Bow: (Close-2H-Volley-3D): [4d6 = 15]
There is now a harmless arrow stuck in the buttocks of Dweller in the Deep 5. He didn't notice.
Dweller: Melee Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 21]
Dweller: Parry, Ranged Weapons Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 9]
Dweller: Melee Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 21]
Dweller: Melee Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 20]
Dweller: Parry, Ranged Weapons Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 15]
Dweller: Parry, Ranged Weapons Successes = 0 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 26]
Dweller: ¡¡ Strange Coral Knives (M): [5d6 = 17]
Dweller 6 decides it is done honoring the "no fighting each other" treaty and tries to stab Slumbara's mount in the back. He fails to do anything other than get caught in the act.
Dweller: Melee Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 24]
Slumbara: Parry 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 18]
Dweller: Sorcery Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 14]
Dweller: Sorcery Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 24]
Dweller: :: Sorcerous Blast(R):, :: Sorcerous Blast(R): [12d6 = 33]

Slumbara: Discipline 2EXP/2FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 21]
Slumbara: [1d20 = 20]
The first Fishman shaman hits Slumbara with a sorcerous blast of power, but like a true Conan character, the mighty warrior ignores the effect of from the crippling blast that would have done 2 mental Trauma.
The second fishman shaman fires a second blast, which Slumbara mockingly absorbs...or wait... he absorbed it? I don't think that sounds like a good idea...
Slumbara: Sorcery 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 27]
Meltam Perandus: [1d12 = 11]
Slumbara: Slumbara does not fear your fish magic
GM: [1d6 = 4]
Slumbara: Slumbara fears nothing except dying poor
A giant fan of lightning erupts from Slumbara's ass, instantly incinerating Dweller 8, leaving a scorched fan shaped trail behind him, and incredible pains in his bowels tract.
Slumbara: Slumbara must have put too much sriracha on his breakfast
Meltam Perandus: Sorcery 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 26]
Volmalric: Mitra's blessing...
Slumbara: Insight Successes = 0 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 27]
Slumbara turns around and drops his pants, shoving his ass directly into the faces of the two shamans
Slumbara: Surrender to Slumbara, or face my spicy gas
Slumbara: Persuade 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 17]
Slumbara: [2d20 = 20]
Dweller: Discipline Successes = 4 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 6]
Dweller: Discipline Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 19]
The first Shaman actually chuckles and thinks this must be a mammalian joke. The second Shaman thinks Slumbara has a delicious smelling ass, as he thinks Sriracha is amazing.
Meltam Perandus: Sorcery 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 15]
Volmalric: Meltam! I think their sorceries got into Slumbara's mind!
Volmalric: We need to do something!
Meltam Perandus: .ytpme si ecalp taht ,meht no si ekoJ
The pulsing creature fades somewhat from existence, it looks like Meltalm is winning the sorcerous duel!
Meltam Perandus: Observation 3EXP/3FOC Successes = 0 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 33]
Volmalric: Observation Successes = 0 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 30]
Volmalric fires another arrow at the Shamen as they recoil from Slumbara
Volmalric: Ranged Weapons 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 26]
Volmalric: Bow: (Close-2H-Volley-3D): [4d6 = 14]
The Shaman now has an arrow sticking out of its back, it still has not noticed Volmalric.
Dweller: Melee Successes = 3 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 10]
Dweller: Parry, Ranged Weapons Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 26]
Dweller: ¡¡ Strange Coral Knives (M): [5d6 = 19]
Meltalm is stabbed viciously, suffering a long slash on his arm. It is not enough to disrupt his efforts but he is in some pain now.
Dweller: Melee Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 21]
Dweller: Melee Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 18]
Dweller: Parry, Ranged Weapons Successes = 0 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 38]
Dweller 5 and 6 try to stab Slumbara's mount, manage to stab each other instead, and he sidesteps their pathetic attempts to injure him while he maintains the moral high ground of not attacking another fish person.
Dweller: Sorcery Successes = 0 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 38]
Dweller: Sorcery Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 25]
Shaman 1 and Shaman 2 back up to the side of the pit and resume chanting...only to decide that Meltalm's version of the chant is actually way cooler.
This results in them canceling each other out. This seems to annoy the creature they are trying to summon, who extends a tentacle, grabs Shaman 2, and pulls him into the pit.
This does have the unfortunate side-effect of making the creature incredibly more corporeal.
Meltam Perandus: Sorcery 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 14]
Slumbara charges the shaman with his pants still around his ankles and attacks
Slumbara: Slumbara gave you a chance to surrender
Slumbara: Melee 2EXP/2FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 26]
Meltam Perandus: You'd think a terrible fish monster wouldn't be further enticed by the same stale sea food, but it seems not....
Dweller: Parry, Ranged Weapons Successes = 1 Complications = 1 [2d20 = 25]
Dweller: Athletics Successes = 0 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 27]
Slumbara: Athletics 3EXP/3FOC Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 18]
Volmalric: May I toss together something alchemical here to strap to an arrow and fire it at the Shaman or should I wait for a proper table?
Slumbara: Broadsword: (Reach 2-Parry 1-UNB-5D): [7d6 = 37]
Slumbara: [1d6 = 2]
Slumbara swings at the Shaman and the old fish cunningly sidesteps, loses his balance, GRABS Slumbara's arm to steady him, slips further, ends up grabbing the mighty warrior's sword, and then manages to pitch himself AND Slumbara's sword into the pit. Which results in an epic belch from the monster, who becomes very corporeal and the thrashing tentacles smash into ground, causing cracks to form around the pit as flagstones fall down the hole.
Slumbara: Good thing I brought my backup weapon
Slumbara brandishes his tuba
Volmalric grabs several ingredients from his bag, quickly mixing them together in a bottle and then corking it before lobbing it at the creature in the pit
Volmalric: Alchemy 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 30]
Volmalric: Ranged Weapons 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 0 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 27]
GM: [1d12 = 3]
GM: [1d6 = 1]
GM: [1d10 = 4]
Volmalric makes a limp-wristed fling at of the concoction towards the pit, it flies sadly to one side, smashing into the toppled menhir before erupting into a viscous blob of goo that causes the stone to smoke.
Slumbara: Observation 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 1 Complications = 1 [2d20 = 26]
Meltam Perandus: Melee 1EXP/1FOC Successes = 2 Complications = 0 [2d20 = 12]
Meltam Perandus: Mace: (Reach 2-Unb-Knockdown-Stun-Pierce 1-3D): [5d6 = 18]
Meltam Perandus: Bonk!
Dweller 4 is stunned, literally, by the fact that the sorceror in front of him just smashed him in the head with a melee weapon.
Slumbara drops his tuba onto the ground next to him
Slumbara: Slumbara wouldn't want to damage his tuba
Slumbara: So I'll be needing that sword back
Slumbara leaps into the creature's maw
Campaign saved.
