MoreCore Ruleset (Version 1.46 20180915). This ruleset adds features and flexibility to CoreRPG allowing you to play more game systems. This ruleset coded by damned and ianmward and additional thanks to Trenloe and others for their assistance along the way. This incorporates dice rolling extensions from Ikael, DMFirmy, Trenloe, Frostbyte, Imiri, Myrddin, Sibelius, rstrahan, superteddy57, damned and ianmward. Other devs may add new roll types. You can Create a library of Rolls and you can drag Rolls into the MoreCore tab of the PC sheet and the Rolls field of the NPC sheet.

A wall of blowing sand is barreling down on the party, now that you have defeated the two bandits who attacked the group. Meanwhile, it is getting later, and the stars above you had been using to guide yourself are disappearing behind the wall of sand.

Volmalric: We need to get to someplace sheltered!
Meltam Perandus Imma shoot an arrow into the storm. There's obviously bad guys in it.

Slumbara: Slumbara does not like hiding, but I do not think I can kill sand
Meltam Perandus: Have you tried?
The arrow probably kills some poor insect that would have otherwise survived the sandstorm. You murderer.
Slumbara: You are trying to trick SLumbara
Slumbara picks up Meltam and breaks into a run for covoer
Slumbara: Come on Volmalric, lets head for those rocks before your weak and puny bodies are torn to pieces
Volmalric thinks there might be some caves up ahead ion the rocks.

Volmalric follows after, tucking away the papers into his pockets and pointing with his free hand to the caves
Volmalric: There may be some caves that way!
Delia runs after Slumbara.
Slumbara heads for the caves Volmalric indicated
The group rushes ahead and sees a rocky outcropping. You run into the cave, where it is dark and impossible to see anything.
Volmalric: Hold on, I think I can make a light
The wall of sand is now very very close!
Slumbara tosses Meltam to the ground
Slumbara looks for a big rock to seal the entrance

Slumbara does not see any rocks around here that would work.
Volmalric makes a small checmical light that glows faintly in a color of his choice.
Slumbara: We should head deeper into the cave
Meltam Perandus: Impressive!
Slumbara ushers Delia, Volmalric and Meltam deeper into the cave
Volmalric holds up the vial, the purple glow shedding light to the walls to help the party lead into the depths of the cave
Slumbara: Stay behind Slumbara,
Slumbara draws his swords
Slumbara: Whoever lives here might not like trespassers
The group heads down a gentle slope for about 50 feet. The wall of sand hits the cave entrance and gusts blow and tear at you, but after about 30' in they mysteriously stop.
Volmalric: I don't think anything lives here
The tunnel you are in is about 8' wide.
Slumbara: Then whose bones are these? And who is mining these rocks?
Volmalric: Weird
Volmalric pauses at the moment when they vanish, stepping back over the threshold to see if the winds are still there
Slumbara points to teh bone fragments and the tool markings

Volmalric: Those...might have been there to begin with

Volmalric shivers in displeasure as he catches up with the group
Volmalric: There's some form of foul sorcery going on here, stopping the wind at least
Slumbara: But you might kill Volmalric in his sleep, or rape him

How much illumination does the purple glow provide? (In terms of X' in diameter)
Slumbara: Hmm, Slumbara remembers saying something similar
Meltam Perandus: It may be that we are in someone else's home, so i suggest we do not act rudely.
Volmalric holds up the vial of glowing chemicals, the purple light illuminating the surrounding 10ft, with shadows and vague shapes visible for a short distance beyond

Meltam Perandus: Spooky!

Volmalric: Let's stick along the walls, see if we can find a torch or two
Slumbara nods and follow the right wall

Meltam Perandus: Can you not concoct another Mitra's Blessed GlowStik?
Slumbara: Or spread the glowy goo all over our bodies
Delia: Like glowing blue pictish warpaint?

Delia: Kind of like those spots over there?

Delia points at some blue glowy bits that have appeared.

Slumbara heads closer to the blue glow pointed out by Delia, somewhat dissapointed not to be covered in Volmalric's glowing purple goo
Delia: They appear to be getting closer. Someone who can speak a bunch of languages and act diplomatically might want to see if they are friendly.

Delia: Err..I suppose that is me?
Delia begins saying "Hello" in a variety of languages.
Volmalric: I can only speak Aquilonian and Kothic, unfortunately

Delia says something in a language and the blue glowing creature(s) stop moving. There is a hiss of rage and anger from north of Slumbara, and then what sounds like a whole lot of strong exhales and "whoosh" noises. You suddenly find yourselves being pelted with darts.
Volmalric: Ah! Mitra's blessings, what the?!
Volmalric: What did you say, Delia?
Slumbara: Throw your goo at them

Volmalric throws his glowing vial towards the glowing dots

Evidently two of the ones who were firing blowgun darts at Meltam forgot the process was "inhale, put blowgun to lips, exhale" and did it out of order.

Volmalric is very very sleepy, and passes out at the end of the round.

Right, scratch that, Slumbara passes out at the end of the round, Volmalric remains upright.

Delia brushes off the darts like nothing bad is going on.
Delia used up all the 1s for this combat.
Volmalric throws the bottle of glowing goo and it explodes, showing revealing your opponents to be short hairless humandoind creatures with pasty white rubbery looking skin. They are carry stone axes, wearing loincloths, and have blackish, pointy teeth.
Slumbara feels the effects of cowardly poisoin in his veins, and charges the mysterious foes while he still can
